Shopping in Berlin

In Berlin there are many shopping centers and stores that offer a wide variety of products for every pocket and in every possible style:

The Ku'dam area is the central shopping street of the west of the city. A long boulevard of about 3.5 km known as "Berlin's Champs-Elysées" because all the best brands adorn the boulevard: Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier, Rolex, Prada and more. But, Not far from there, in the area of Adenauer Square, you will find the pedestrian street of Wilmersdorfer Straße, a simpler and more popular shopping street than the Ku'dam but full of shops, boutiques and malls at surprising prices, for example the excellent TK-Maxx store that sells clothes Designers at clearance prices and significant discounts: clothes, shoes, makeup and also household items.

*Important tip: come as close to opening time as the store is still organized and you can easily find interesting items. Because like in the Cinderella story, within a few hours it becomes a market and it will be difficult for you to dig through the piles to find treasures.

The KA.DE.WE. It is a real tourist attraction and is considered the largest in Europe with 60,000 square meters focused on luxury goods and there is almost no brand in the world that you cannot get there. The KaDeWe is more than 100 years old and is an important part of Berlin's history. I especially recommend the department The wonderful cosmetics located on the ground floor and the dining floor located on the sixth floor where you can taste all the flavors of German and international cuisine. A culinary experience at its best.

Bikini Center - Designer mall and concept founded in 2014 not far from KaDeWe and located in front of the Europe Center. It boasts a variety of "pop up" stores (stores that pop up and disappear every few weeks that make the mall more interesting and intriguing).

On its ground floor there is an excellent cafe with delicious sandwiches and in the summer you can drink the coffee on the balcony on the roof of the building - recommended.

The C&A store is recommended to anyone who is looking for cheap clothes and doesn't care about the brand. The quality is reasonable. To display the locations of the store in the city, click here.

The central shopping street of the east of the city is called Friedrichstrasse where you will find the prestigious department store: Galeries Lafayette. Near Galerillafait you will find Quartier 206 a shopping center of prestigious and expensive boutiques with all the big names.

In 2014, the largest shopping mall in Germany was opened near Potsdamer Platz on the street Leipziger Strasse, which goes by the name Mall of Berlin and as it is called: more than 270 stores on a total area of 76,000 square meters. All luxury and simple brands are also in the mall, you will also find a supermarket, cosmetics, restaurants, cafes, the Toys R Us store and sometimes on the main entrance floor of the mall you can enjoy dance and music shows.

In the area of Alexander Platz is one of the largest shopping centers in the city of Alexa, where you will find more popular brands alongside international chains. In addition, there is also the six-floor Galeria Kaufhof with over 600 brands at reasonable prices. Starting from the supermarket floor through underwear, housewares, clothes and footwear, jewelry, make-up and luggage. Everything you need in one place.

For lovers of vintage and second hand, Berlin does not neglect you and takes care of pampering as only it knows how. In an inner courtyard of one of the buildings along a popular shopping street known as Bergmannstraße in the Kreuzberg district, on its more bourgeois side, you will find a small and crazy shop called: Color Garage

The store, as its name suggests, is divided according to the colors of red, green, blue, yellow, pink and turquoise, and each color offers plenty of second-hand clothes of uncompromising quality and at crazy prices. Large parts in the store are priced by weight and it's really worth it. In addition, on Bergman Street you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants with a variety of tastes and smells and excellent bars. But at the end of the street you will find a gem in the form of a cafe called Barcomi's

In this cafe you can enjoy cheesecakes out of this world! And for those who still have energy left, then right in front of the cafe there is an indoor food market with boutique shops of wine, cheese and many more Delicious things.

And last but not least - the brand outlet - Designer Outlet Berlin
